Create an XML sitemap to submit to search engines
One of the first things recommended, when I wanted to increase the number of visits to the site, has been to create and send to the search engines, First SITEMAP.
Sitemap contains a list of all your pages in the site, and helps search engines to find out as much as possible on your site, allowing the indexing of most pages.
The best tool to generate sitemap, and auditmypc
Just give the project a name, Enter the address of your website, Levar at Spunta su EXCLUDE IMAGES, and press the green triangle on the bottom left to start the process.
CRAWLER tab you can see the current status and, when finished, you can open the card SITEMAP, cliccare su EXPORT, and save the XML SITEMAP.
At this point, all that remains is to upload the sitemap.xml in the root of your site and, if possible, contains the list of all your pages on the site (Webmaster tools) Yahoo and the address of the sitemap.
In a few weeks you will see that your content will appear in search engine results 🙂
Update 16 April 2009:
Here's a handy service to notify Google, Yahoo, MSN Live and other search engines that you have a sitemap and can be used.
It's enough to launch a url like:
http://www.sitemapwriter.com/notify.php?crawler=all&url = WWW.VOSTRO_SITO.COM
Now just wait for the search engines do their job…
