HOWTO: Compile the latest svn gnuplot on Mac OSX from CVS
While this article is written, the development version of gnuplot is 5.1 (edit of December 2014).
Months ago, wanting (or having, for some reason I can't remember 😛 ) update gnuplot, I tried a simple method to compile the latest version and, in case of bugs, wait a few days that bugs were resolved, and be able to recompile, all with a click.
This is simple and allows scriptino, throwing, to compile the latest version of gnuplot from cvs, compatible with Aquaterm, and save it with a name like gnuplot_data_di_compilazione, in order to quickly identify which version you are using.
E'possibile download the script from my OSX/Linux repository or the official site of gnuplot
Obviously you need to have installed the Developer Tools for OSX, Fink and also would not hurt!
