Playing your music keyboard with your computer : part 2
I see that the previous article on the subject has generated several visits from google and from external sites or aggregators rss, obviously a sign that the topic has affected, even if the main purpose of that post was to show an old piano for Commodore 64 and not an emulator piano more modern.
Taking a look in my favorites, Music folder, between a vst and a score I caught these two additional web applications, that allow you to play interactively with your computer.
The first application, as well as that of the previous post, again has to do with the piano, However, even if using a method very… particular to make sounds.
As you can see from the image, there are no keys classical music, but the… squares.
The perimeter of the pane that contains the squares is elastic, so if a handle is dragged and dropped down, the latter bounces, emitting a sound of piano.
The time that elapses between a bounce and the other represents the duration of the note.
The tone can be chosen from the console to the right, under the heading TON.
Below the container of the squares, there are three small rectangles, where you can drag one of the agreements from the same console. Each time you click on one of the squares-agreements, will be issued, precisely, an agreement.
Finding the right combination of squares and the appropriate times to make them bounce, you can compose nice melodies 🙂
Ah, I forgot, the application is to this link 😉
The second application, chiamata ton Matrix, is very close, in terms of graphics and sound, (synth wave very similar to that produced by the SID of Commodore64) the plan for c64 that I mentioned in the first post.
As shown in, shows a black grid on which you can click on one of the many squares.
Depending on the location in which is located a handle, nerra a beep sounds of different tones. Obviously the handles positioned at the same height emit the same sound.
Spreader is then compose music in a way a little… starry-eyed, creating it thanks to the designs that you can dial illuminating the squares chosen.
Tone Matrix is available at this link.
Both applications are very interesting, and I think I'll put them on my site 🙂
