What is a browser? Simple!…and
…google!
Seriously, This is according to an interview, unearthed by thenextweb.com, carried out a few months ago in the navel of the world, namely Times Square.
Ben il 92% of Americans surveyed had no idea what the definition of browser, and, the most common response, was “google!”, or “something that makes you look for things” or so.
This is a clear signal of how Google, if you ever end up to develop Google Chrome within a human, and will do so especially multi-platform, give the final pickaxe to the web, seen that even now, un Browser, the same web, is identified as “google” by the average citizen.
I would have expected better results, especially in a city that is full of iPod and wifi hot spots… At this point, I dare not imagine what would be the results if… a similar interview was done in Italy!! Who wants to try it? Fatemi sapere 🙂
