Traditional media increasingly frightened by blogging and the Web 2.0? Here is the proof!

It may seem a matter of course, but a signal which demonstrates how the newspapers are scared by the possibility of spreading news by a user, through a blog or a social network, with a single click, was given ten days ago, when the influential New York Times criticized the technology news site Techcrunch, accusing, in practice, to believe every joke, a bit like Pinocchio, and publish it without any scruples.

It all started one of the usual rumor, who wished to Apple about to buy the ever-growing Twitter, after that I tried, in vain, to do the same thing.

Immediately broke loose, as always, the tam tam in network, and the news came to the ears of Techcrunch, who published.
Needless to say, the news has been proved false, but led to a large number of unique visitors and comments on the site.

Il New York Times, Then, accused them of lack of credibility, and take advantage of every rumor that promises lightning and storms, to gain traffic (and therefore money).
Point out that sites like Techcrunch does not have at their disposal a large staff, that verifies the information before publishing, cavalchino but the wave of blogging and social networking, through which a story can do in minutes around the world and bring lots of visitors.

The answer is not to arrive and tardata, rightly I think, Michael Arrington demonstrated how the same newspaper New York take some beautiful corners, and publish it without thinking twice about it. We want to talk about the Italian press and appearing boiata, especially in articles about technology??
at the bottom, after hearing the denial of Apple, Techcrunch has corrected the shot, and admitted that could not trust the source of the rumors.

It can be said, In short, that the fear of newspapers “paper” exists and is founded, and you have not missed a wonderful opportunity to try to undermine the credibility of one of the most famous sites in the scope Tech.

Chisa if, A short, in Italy the newspapers will realize the loss of ground to blog, I'd hate to see very close Il Giornale di Mario Giordano, yes yes, I'd hate to just, and to you? 🙂
