2 days (full) a Philadelphia: Quick Guide
Adrianaaaaaa!
Already, so said Rocky Balboa, the Italian-American boxer who has gained so much in the cinema. It so happens that Rocky was a native of Philadelphia, a city that still has a strong Italian, due to immigrants who have occupied Pennsylvania and New Jersey at the beginning of the century.
Philly, as they call the… friends, is the city where it was signed the Declaration of Independence, something not to be underestimated!
I got to visit the city for two and a half days, and I want to share with you the’itinerary I have created and followed, including Google Map (UNIFORM FOR SITES, each color corresponds to a zone).
The subway is not very wide and, at least when I went I, still working with “tokens”, coins you buy and fit into the turnstiles, to enter the dock.
Council to use it only when absolutely necessary because, thanks to PHLash, a bus which costs 5$ day and that touches on all the places of tourist interest, it moves easily.
The food is typical Philly Cheesesteak, a sandwich with meat and cheddar cheese in America is famous, and that Philadelphia is home! Board of eating from Pat's Steaks, an Italian-American whose family came there to '900.
Frankly, two full days seem enough to visit Philadelphia… I have not found much more, it was of interest.
The photo of this trip to Philly can be found in my gallery, to this address.
