3 days in Boston: guide and itinerary
In the heart of New England, Northeast U.S., sorge il Commonwealth (is still called so!) Some Massachusetts.
Boston and, certainly, the North American city more “European” I have ever visited. The architecture reminds London much more than other cities in the Northeast, and its dialect, characteristic for its non-roticità (do not pronounce the letter “r”) has close links, in fact, con il British English.
Famous in the world are the most prestigious universities in the WITH and Harvard (that, Indeed, are located in neighboring Cambridge).
It is the city which started the revolt of the colonies against the British (the famous Tea Party took place in Boston Harbor), the city of patriots John Adams, Samuel Adams, John Hancock… if you decide to follow the guided tour of the Freedom Trail, a guide dressed in eighteenth century clothes will explain it better than I.. 🙂
The metropolitan (call “T”) discreetly covers the city, as well as coaches. From the airport you can take the Blue Line to go downtown, or the Silver Line that, despite the name, is a network of bus underground (I have never taken, so can not guidicarne efficiency).
To make you breathe a little’ Air New England, here is a short video, I turned around to the famous Berklee College of Music.
in 3 days do not need to purchase any subscription, and should charge the magnetic card, paying single fares (a po’ come il pay-as-you-go londinese, but much cheaper!).
Photos taken in those days can be found in the gallery, A this address.
