2 days at Niagara Falls: itinerary

What to do in Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls, situated on the border between Canada (Ontario) and the United States (New York), are an attraction to not miss, if you visit the Ontario, the East Coast of the United States, or even the Midwest.

IL deafening noise, the water spray, the play of the lights, help create a unforgettable sight!

So, what to do, once in the area? If you are on the road to face a, and you want to optimize the journey as much as possible, can be condense in a single day's main tourist attractions, as long as you arrive the day before, and spend, Then, nearly two days in the area.

The Canadian side of the falls is universally the most popular, either because the largest waterfall (Horseshoe Falls) is in Canadian territory, either because the town at the falls, with sua Clifton Hill, is a “little Las Vegas”, of those that much like the North American tourists.

The best way to get to Niagara Falls is to land’Buffalo airport (Personally, I came from Chicago 'O Hare), and use a shuttle (taxi), a private taxi, or public transportation in the city of Buffalo (Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority). Up to 2012, There was the convenient bus #210, for less than two dollars took you from the airport to Rainbow Bridge (the border crossing over the falls).Unfortunately, I have been told that this line has been suppressed, and then you need to take a bus to Buffalo, and there change to line, to arrive at Niagara Falls.

Most of the attractions, obviously, are paid, but strongly suggest you do not skip even a. IL Maid of the Mist that takes you right up to the waterfalls, IL Journey Behind the Falls that allows you to observe from the back, the path of the Cave of the Winds… I could hardly eliminate a!

Be careful to protect your camera, especially when dealing with the Maid of the Mist. The mantle supplied may not be enough to repair the violent sketches!

I shot a little video of the view of Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, wetting inevitably my old phone!

Usual, The photos I took are available in the gallery, A this address.
