2 and a half days in Copenhagen: route, and guides to the cities of the Little Mermaid

I admit: even the cold North may give satisfaction… species during the long and “lukewarm” Scandinavian summers!
One example is the photo above, I took in Nyhavn, the ancient port of Copenhagen (area and a high rate of turisticità), almost to the 10 The sera. A kind of fascinating landscape, especially for those accustomed to the typical Mediterranean architecture, made of low houses, White, and the flat roof.
the capital of the small Scandinavian country, It faces the’Øresund, close that divides the Swedish city of Malmö, which is connected with a bridge, and is easily accessible by air (The’Copenhagen Airport is connected with the efficient metropolitan driverless), its your strada, from the South of Sweden, o dal North of Germany (Hamburg, I have already written, Kiel oppure Lubecca).
Although it may surprise you (but no), The currency used is not that of the neighboring German, ma la Danese corona (8DKK = ca.1EUR). IL cost of living, for us Italians, appears to be moderately high, especially with regard to food and drinks (forget the water)… In short, is not exactly a destination cheap! 🙂
In my small, IL Food is disappointing, even compared to German neighbors: from sandwiches (basically, slices of white bread or rye, imburrate, accompanied by dozens of possibly condiments, including salad and shrimp or herring), to heavy Director snail (swivels cinnamon, garnish with chocolate icing and, cloying in their sweetness), the ubiquitous soups Nordic, I have not found anything particularly exciting. but, at the bottom, da Italiani, You and your Denmark to enjoy the architecture and the Scandinavian mentality, light years away from the Mediterranean, certainly not for a culinary tour! 🙂
The two lines of metropolitan (working 24 ore su 24), assieme ai bus (some of which electrical!) are the fastest and cheapest way to get around the city, all in all, Misura of a uomo.
In alternative, it is possible rent a bike, which is the preferred medium for ilt ragitto home to work from most of the Danes (come, rest, Dutch).
In short, light years away from the plague-stricken Italian cities, whose preferred medium was, is and remains the private motor, if only for small displacements.
For My visit two and a half days, I made exactly 8 travel by public transport, referred 7 in zona 1-2, and one in the area 1-3 (to go to the airport).
To clear his head, I recommend that you read on the official site office of tourism as a function of the “fare zones” Copenhagen.
Suppose you want to follow my own route, Then, the ideal is to buy a carnet da 10 ticket, called “vouchers”, Affordable stations with both banknotes by credit card, at the cost of DKK150. I had to buy individual tickets, I spent 7×24+1×36=DKK204.
IL “vouchers” paper will be, A short (half 2014), eliminated, and you can buy it online, through the’Official App, call “Mobile Tickets Capital”.
The system is very flexible, because it allows both to travel in groups (just validate the klippekort a number of times equal to the number of people), is to use it for most areas (in the city center, then in the area 1-2, it is sufficient to validate it once, while, to go to the airport, in zona 1-3, conalidarlo just twice per person).
in 2 and a half days I could see almost everything there was to see in Copenhagen, including all three royal palaces (Amalienborg, Christiansborg, Rosenborg), the “bislacca” community of Christiania (where it is strictly forbidden to take pictures), ed i famosi Tivoli Gardens, fireworks included.
Indeed, ho un po’ of regret for not being able to see the the castle of Elsinore, home of the famous Shakespearean tragedy of Hamlet, reached in less than an hour by train, but it will be for next time. 🙂
A gem that might intrigue someone, is to ask for permission to attend a meeting of the Danish Parliament: terminated your visit to the palace of Rosenborg, you can contact the desk where you have purchased tickets, and ask for directions to the entrance visitors to Parliament: It, at that time, there Una seduta, after the security checks, you will be directed in the “pigeon house” Parliament: may be interesting to attend a meeting of one of the more advanced social democracies in the world, though… you will not understand a word of what they say! 🙂
I leave a video shot on Stroget, the most important pedestrian artery of the Danish capital.
The photo of my visit of two and a half days in Copenhagen are visible, Usual, in my gallery, A this address.
To purchase Tickets for museums and tours, I preferred to buy online at the best price, no queues.
