Adsense per Feed RSS? 5 Any suggestions
In a word? The answer is NO!!
Since last summer, google AdSense introduced the possibility to include in its feed, if managed with Feedburner, the ability to insert the advertisements at the bottom of each article present within its Feed RSS.
Initially there were conflicting opinions, and how everything, the best solution is probably to test it personally and draw their own conclusions.
The result, after a few months of testing, is that it is a feature useless.
Going to see the values daily, in fact, the result is more than disappointing, let's see what are the reasons:
– Who uses an RSS feed, also considered the average level in Italy, is most critical
– The more experienced, generally tends to recognize and avoid the commercials (although these may be interesting, add :P)
– That the player is more or less experienced, given that the feeds are presented in the form LINKS – ABSTRACT – AD PUBLBICITARIO, all on a white background, it is difficult to make a real integration as you can do for ads integrated into a static site or blog, where you can manage forms and colors.
– Having the majority of the RSS feed only a summary of the text, be difficult, for the engine Adsense, understand what the topic, with the risk that it extends out of context ads, and therefore perfectly useless (What happened, and it was expected)
– You will get only result to annoy people, at the bottom, is a little more experienced and decided to follow you through your daily feeds, which at best would lead to lose fixed readers.
In definitiva, better to focus on the sets of links and banner ads.
