MP3 converter for OSX in one click with auto fill ID3 TAG

How many times did you need to convert an MP3 on the fly, without having to go through the various MAX or any other audio converters, where to manually enter the file, convert, close etc.. etc.. ? 🙂

Spreader is, using a thing called LAME Framework for Quicktime, that allows you to save an audio file using QuickTime (which, usually, save in .aiff or similar formats), take advantage of this API to interact with Quicktime.

Having come, about a year ago, in contact with Art Gillespie of shifting bits (who knows iDrum?), we came to a small application that, going to right click on a mp3, going to appear in ACTION AUTOMATOR.

php : ONLY a few scripts to list files in a folder

Sometimes, for the most varied reasons, you want to list only a few files in a folder, and it can not be, not known, or you do not want to use the htaccess file..
Is possible to use a script (for example, I used here to show ONLY the files that begin with the letters “amsn”) in php, that, suitably configured by setting the string $list identifying which are the initials of the file to be displayed, do this without any particular problems.

aMSN SVN (Linux Ubuntu) precompiled packages. deb

Even if all packages are compiled into the repository automatically shown in this article, for those who want to download the latest version and do not know / want to compile from svn, I prepared a script that, when there is a new version, allows you to compile and Uppa automatically on my server.

update: From today, 26 April 2012, aMSN is compiled on Ubuntu 12.04 and no longer on 11.10. It was also added support for libfarstream for audio and video calls!

Amsn is probably the most complete client for Unix. The SVN version is a beta version, not yet officially released because under testing phase, which includes new features that will be implemented later in the stable version. I personally compiled the SVN version with Tcl / Tk 8.5 (on the contrary of the official package that uses the 8.4) that are faster than previous version 10% according to the developers.
